Volunteer Easter Bunny puts smiles on faces in Walnutport

The Easter Bunny was busy this past weekend.

He started at Fast Fill in Walnuport. This is the third year for Ashley Kremsner, bunny, and her daughter Lily and friend Emily from Palmerton doing their good deed. They had jokes for adults, treats for dogs and candy for kids.

Their next stop was River Stone Manor of Walnutport, an assisted living facility.

Sixty-five residents live there, including Joe Roman, who partcipated in the egg hunt.

“I really found a lot,” he said.

River Stone Manor is under new management as of October 2023. Since Daisy Ynoa took the reins, there are many changes for the better. Staffing has improved and more activities have been added.
