Flooding, tree damage possible Saturday

With 1 to 2 inches of snow in the forecast, several instances of flooding are possible on Saturday, especially in urban and poor-drainage areas and near particularly vulnerable small creeks and streams.

Windy conditions may cause isolated instances of tree damage and power outages on Saturday and Sunday.

Here is the latest forecast:

Today: Mostly sunny, with a high near 45. Calm wind becoming south around 5 mph in the afternoon.

Tonight: A chance of rain and snow before 11 p.m., then rain. Low around 35. Southeast wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.

Saturday: Rain. The rain could be heavy at times. High near 49. East wind 5 to 10 mph becoming north in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New precipitation amounts between 1 and 2 inches possible.

Saturday night: Rain before 8 p.m. Low around 27. Windy, with a north wind 25 to 30 mph, with gusts as high as 45 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.

Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 49. Windy, with a north wind 25 to 30 mph decreasing to 15 to 20 mph in the afternoon.

Sunday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 28.

Monday: Sunny, with a high near 55.

Monday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 31.

Tuesday: Partly sunny, with a high near 54.

Tuesday Night: A chance of rain after 2 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 37. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
