March 7, 1998 - Northern Lehigh’s Cory DeBias earns an 8-3 decision over Justin Olano of Tri-Valley to capture the PIAA Class 2A 135-pound wrestling title. DeBias registers four takedowns in the match, two in each of the first two periods. The Bulldog senior, who defeats Olano for the fourth time during the season, ends his year with a perfect 39-0 record and his career with a mark of 133-10. DeBias, coached by Todd Herzog, is one of four Nolehi wrestlers to medal at states. Steve Hluschak takes fourth at 119, while Josh Herzog (125) and Keith Blose (145) both finish fifth.
