Rescue crews from Schuylkill and Berks counties were on scene Sunday to rescue a hiker who slid 300 to 400 feet down a rock wall at Hawk Mountain. The call came in around 3 p.m. of a hiker.

Rescuers announced at 6:30 p.m. that the victim was found and they were on the way out with the victim being transported on an all-terrain vehicle. Rescuers were walking behind.
