It is my understanding that the tires burned are not even from Carbon County.

Carbon County is just the dumping site and the county that will have to deal with the environmental issues caused by the burning of these tires.

The smoke, ash and fumes will travel far and wide even reaching Mauch Chunk Lake, Jim Thorpe.

Potential to harm the tourism that has greatly increased in the area.

The fumes from tire burning are filled with toxic chemicals.

Increasing the risk of cancer to the residents of Carbon county.

I am opposed to this proposal.
