The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory in effect from 4 p.m. today to 4 a.m. Thursday.

West to northwest winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts of 40 to 50 mph are expected.

Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may

result.

West will increase abruptly as a strong cold front crosses the area this evening.

The strongest winds will diminish overnight, however breezy conditions will persist through Thursday.
