Carbon County Planning Commission

The Carbon County Planning Commission made recommendations on the following proposed plans during its monthly meeting last week.

• Frey Land Company, Pagnotti Enterprises Inc. and Daniel Leto received conditional plan approval for a proposed subdivision/lot line adjustment at the intersection of SR 309 and Route 4002 in Banks Township. The plans call for subdividing lots off each owners’ properties and combining those smaller lots to create a 2.6-acre lot.

• Vadim and Yelena Zolotarsky received conditional plan approval for a proposed lot consolidation on Bishop Circle, lots 1314 and 1316, Towamensing Trails, Section III, Penn Forest Township. The plans call for combining lots to create one lot.

• Great Pocono Enterprises LLC received no recommendation over a proposed lot consolidation at 1787 Pennsylvania Legislative State Route 903 in Penn Forest Township. The plans called for combining two parcels to create a new lot. It was noted that the plan preclude any recommendation and the review will be sent to the township for inclusion in further discussion on the property.

• David R. and Irene Williams, Durand R. and Wendy Williams, Aldo J. and Tyra I. Boni and Derrick L. Williams received plan approval for a proposed subdivision/lot line revision at 285, 465, 635 and 770 Taners Drive, Franklin Township. The plan calls for subdividing 85.7992 acres owned by David R. and Irene Williams into four lots and combining the new lots with land owned by the remaining parties.

• Lakeside Self Storage owner Sunrise Lehighton Group LLC, received no recommendation over a proposed land development at 10 Homestead Lane, Towamensing Township. The plans call for creating a 25,200-square-foot single story commercial storage building with a maximum of 260 storage units of various sizes. It was noted that the plan preclude any recommendation and the review will be sent to the township for inclusion in further discussion on the property.
