A Tobyhanna man died in a one-vehicle crash Sunday at 2:27 a.m. on Interstate 380 in Coolbaugh Township.

Steven S. McKenna, 22, was pronounced dead at the scene by a Monroe County deputy coroner.

State police at Stroudsburg said he was driving a 2002 Toyota Tacoma when it veered to the right and left the roadway, hitting an embankment and a tree. They said the vehicle rotated on its axis multiple times before coming to a stop facing north on the side of the embankment. Police said McKenna was found dead on the passenger side of the vehicle.

Police were assisted at the scene by the Tobyhanna Army Depot Fire Department, Coolbaugh Township Fire Department, and Pocono Mountain Regional EMS.
