Mission: February Mission of the Month is Care Net of Carbon County. In our county, we have many “at-risk” young people, who don’t have positive role models or haven’t been taught life skills. Care Net is filling a definite void. The organization offers many different educational programs providing accurate information on pregnancy, fetal development, the options associated with pregnancy (parenting, adoption, or abortion), life skills, relationship issues, as well as assistance such as free pregnancy test, baby clothing, baby furniture, diapers and formula. See church office for a list of items needed by the organization.

New Sunday School Series: Adult Bible Class, held in Leah’s Room and led by Pete Herzog. Held on Sundays at 9:45 a.m. The theme is “It’s Not Suppose to Be This Way.” A contemporary adult Sunday school class will begin on March 10. It will be led by Sam Heiney in room 113 and include a six-week DVD series that will help you live with an eternal perspective.

Food pantry: If you would like to donate canned goods and/or nonperishable food items for the food pantry, please drop off in the church lobby. If you know a family or friend in need of food we would like to help.

Volunteers: Volunteers are needed to serve as Safe Sanctuary monitors during both services and Sunday school. Background checks are required. For more information, call the church office.

Nursery: Help is needed in the nursery during both worship services. Contact Kim Henshue at the church office for more information. Background checks are required.

Micah Meals: Micah Meals currently serves 35 students. The committee is in need of ramen noodle packs made by Maruchan, individual applesauce cups, 7.5-ounce pasta with sauce microwave cups, and vegetable microwave cups. All food must have a best by date of May 2024 or later.

Benevolence committee: The committee is looking for new members to help with assisting those who are in need of funds. If interested in helping, contact Sandy Jenkins by calling the church office.
