The original “Snowbird,” the dark-eyed junco is a winter bird that lived up to its name after the snow. This one was in Jim Thorpe, where up to 13 inches of snow fell last Monday, with more on Saturday. Rain is on tap tonight and Friday, with some possible ice accumulations.
