State police at Frackville

State police at the Frackville barracks reported on the following incidents:

• Police are investigating a criminal mischief incident that was reported at 7:30 a.m. Feb. 2.

Someone damaged several windows on two excavators (John Deere 470 and Komatsu 800) on North Kennedy Drive in Kline Township.

One window is estimated at $1,500 while the other is valued at $500, police said.

• Police said a 45-year-old woman from Bradenton, Florida, is the victim of a terroristic threats incident that they were called to at 2:30 p.m. Dec. 21.

A man tried to intimidate the woman with a holstered pistol at the intersection of Schuylkill Road and Skyline Drive South in Blythe Township.

He drove from the scene in a white Honda Accord, police said.

• A 54-year-old Coaldale man is facing drug possession charges after police served a bench warrant in him at 4:37 p.m. Jan. 31 on Second Street in Coaldale.

Police said they were serving the warrant on him for failure to register with Meghan’s Law. He was in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

• Police are investigating the theft of copper wire from Frontier Communications in Rush Township.

They said between midnight Dec. 19 and 11:30 a.m. Dec. 21, the utility wires were stolen from the property at 72 Church Road in the township.

• Police said a woman was caught “under-ringing” (retail theft) items at the Walmart Store, 35 Plaza Drive, Rush Township.

Police were called to the store at 2:21 p.m. Jan. 27 for a report that the store’s asset protection personnel observed the woman “under-ringing” $316.03 worth of items, after which time she was confronted but fled the store.

State police at the Frackville barracks reported the following:

• Michael Savlik, 51, of Tamaqua, was charged with terroristic threats after police were called to an incident at 5:41 p.m. Feb. 4 on Ye Old Dam Road in Rush Township.

Police said a woman from Tamaqua reported Savlik made threats toward her.
