State police at Frackville charged Patrick Quinn, 25, no address given, with simple assault, aggravated assault and recklessly endangering another person after an incident at 12:21 p.m. Feb. 11 in Gilberton.

Police said he fired at least three rounds from a .22-caliber rifle in the direction of a residence. They said rounds struck a vehicle. Six people were in the car, including two young children.
