The Kidder Township Police Department have charged a White Haven man after a Jan. 27 crash.

David Parker Jr., 30, was charged in the crash on Route 940 just west of the intersection with Interstate 80.

Parker is accused of hitting another vehicle, causing it to go down an embankment.

An 81-year-old male driver was injured and taken to the hospital.

Parker is also accused of fleeing the scene.

He was charged with felony counts of: flight to avoid apprehension, accidents involving death or injury while not licensed and numerous summary violations, including driving without a valid license or registration.

He was arraigned Thursday by Magistrate William J. Kissner of Palmerton and sent to Carbon County Prison. Bail was set at $7,500.
