The average price for a gallon of gas in Pennsylvania is 12.5 cents higher this week at $3.50 per gallon, according to AAA East Central’s Gas Price Report.

On Feb. 6, the average price was $3.375.

In the Lehigh Valley, the average price on Feb. 13 was $3.437 compared to $3.305 on Feb. 6.

The national average for a gallon of gas has risen eight cents over the past week to $3.225.
