State police at the Fogelsville barracks reported a mentally-challenged person was transported to the St. Luke’s Hospital, Allentown, for a mental health evaluation after police were called to an incident at 8:19 p.m. Jan. 24 on Flint Hill Road in Lynn Township.

Police said they were summoned there when the suspect hit his caretaker in the back. They said no charges will be filed against the suspect due to his mental capacities.
