February 9, 1988 - Lehighton’s “second unit” goes on a second-half run to help the Indians pull away from Northwestern for a 71-52 Centennial League victory. Lehighton head coach Dan Novey uses a 10-player, two platoon system and the guys off the bench get the job done late in the game. With the Indians leading by just six, the second group goes on an 18-4 spurt, with Troy Yurasits collecting eight points and Ken Ohl adding four during the run. Eric Barry finishes with a game-high 16 points for the winners, while Scott Kulp contributes 14 points and 10 rebounds. The Tigers receive a team-high 14 points from Lance Miller.
