A man’s body was discovered at a brush fire scene in Tamaqua Sunday afternoon.

Firefighters were called to the property on the 200 block of Owl Creek Road and discovered John Fredericks, 75, dead at the scene.

Tamaqua police said Monday that they are investigating and are awaiting a report from the Schuylkill County Coroner. It is believed he died of natural causes.
