Letter to the editor: Vote for who you think is the best candidate

The newspaper has an article by G Fields & L Sanders about 2024 pivotal for democracy. Well, I was amazed when I read the article. They twist things as usual and people take things out of context. This D Kucmerowski -Ind., said there were no issues with 2020 election. Yes, there were issues. And they are still finding issues - example - Georgia where some ballots were scanned twice. Other states reported finding things wrong.

He also reported Trump announced he would be a Dictator day 1. He said what about day 2,3 or 4. Well, Trump said in the Hannity interview he would be a Dictator “only day 1”, where he would “Close the Border and restart Drilling.“ Both of these things are what we Americans want. That is not being a dictator, but shows a man who cares about us citizens. Trump really should have said “no, but I will reverse all of Biden’s crazy EO’s that are wrecking our country.” After all Biden did over 200 EO - so we know he is a dictator. We really need to think of our current situation in this country - the high cost of oil and gas, the criminal activity going on, the open border with over 8 million illegals, drugs, crime and the expenses for them that we, the taxpayers are paying for. Even the interest rates as high as 7%. Along with inflation and the higher cost of food. And don’t forget the Biden family - even his tax return showed a 1 million corporation the year after he finished his VP term on a $375,000 salary. His demanding ‘quid pro quo’ with the Ukrainian government to withhold money unless his demands were met to fire the prosecutor investigating the firm his son worked for, as he admitted to on TV. And the unrest we see in the world after Biden gave Iran over 6 billion dollars. Like I said crazy.

We all need to figure out who we think is the best candidate to lead us. I know who my choice is ... do you?
