A Ryan Township fireman has been elected president of the Schuylkill County Firemen’s Association.

William G. Wildoner was elected to the post during a meeting of the association Sunday in Palo Alto.

Other officers elected are William A. Somers, Palo Alto, first vice president; Adolph F. Facini, Mary D, second vice president; Ralph L. Berger, Cressona, recording secretary; Daniel J. Metzger, Quakake, financial secretary; Wilfred Wachter, Pottsville, treasurer; and Joseph Dower, Shenandoah, death benefit fund secretary.

Named trustees are Howard Schaeffer, Tamaqua, Vincent Wolfe, Palo Alto, Frank Wapinsky, St. Clair, Vitas Urbon, Gordon, and Joseph Klehr, Shenandoah.
