Are you ready to begin a career in a high paying, in-demand field? Northampton Community College’s free 8-week training program explores the many career paths available in modern manufacturing and teaches the skills necessary for entry-level positions.

If you’re interested in learning more about the program, join the NCC team for an info session on Jan. 23 at 11 a.m., Jan. 30 at 10 a.m., and Feb. 7 at 1 p.m., at the Fowler Family Southside Center in Bethlehem.

This program, funded by the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development, will start on Feb. 20.

In addition to earning the OSHA-10 certification, students will receive basic training in lean manufacturing, blueprint reading, production, automation and more.

Students will also have the opportunity to tour nearby facilities, explore careers within manufacturing, complete hands-on training in the NCC Fab Lab, and interview with companies who are eager to hire.
