The annual meeting of the First Federal Savings and Loan Association of Carbon County was held in the office of the association in Lehighton on Wednesday. Attorney George Shutack, president, was in charge.

An election was held for directorship in the association and the following were re-elected to the board: Atty. Shutack, Nesquehoning, president; Frank G. McCartney, Lansford; Luther Getz, Albrightsville; Mrs. Helen L. Dougherty, Jim Thorpe; Dr. Albert H. Vermillion, Summit Hill; Jacob M. Arner, Lehighton; and Thomas A. Zimmerman, Mahoning.

Re-elected officers include Atty. Shutack, president; McCartney, vice president; Getz, secretary; and Dr. Vermillion, treasurer.
