Several area churches celebrated milestone anniversaries in 2023.

Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church in Trachsville celebrated its 175th anniversary during a worship service in October.

St. John’s Lutheran Church, Palmerton, celebrated its 225th anniversary with a service of Holy Communion in October.

In May, Trinity Lutheran Church, along with Zion United Church of Christ, conducted joint proclamations, and then a “Faith Walk” to commemorate their 150th anniversaries.
