Palmerton Borough Council took the following action on Thursday:

• Recognized borough employees Duane Dellecker (25 years) and David Washburn (five years) for their years of service.

• Approved the working firefighter policy.

• Approved the computer use policy.

• Approved the no parking request for the Airing of the Quilts event to be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 11 in downtown Palmerton.
