Franklin Township supervisors took the following action on Tuesday:

• Approved the quote of $15,173 from DHTCS LLC for cameras to be installed at the Phifer’s Ice Dam Park from ARPA funds.

• Hired Allen Robles as a part-time garbage crew employee at the rate of $16.50 an hour.

• Hired Robert Kerr as a part-time fill-in garbage and road crew employee at the rate of $15.50 an hour.

• Will ask for Requests For Proposals for health insurance plans.

• Announced changes in the garbage collection pickup for Christmas and New Year’s Day. Monday, Dec. 25 collection will be Tuesday, while Jan. 1 collection will be Jan. 2.

• Christmas trees can be dropped at the Phifer Ice Dam Parks using the Penn Street entrance beginning Dec. 30.

• The township office is selling 6-inch hoagie tickets to help raise money for the revitalization of Phifer’s Ice Dam Playground. Hoagies are from Cindy’s Deli, and tickets only can be purchased from the township administration office during business hours. The ticket expires March 1.

• The township’s reorganization meeting will be held at 6 p.m. on Jan. 2.
