Americans are hoping the results of our upcoming election will resolve the many problems afflicting our nation.

Most are hoping that through a well-functioning democracy we can restore our nation to its former greatness.

But, does America have a well-functioning democracy; it would be delusional to think so. Did our last election results help to resolve our problems?

The truth most Americans don’t want to accept is that no political party, man, or woman can resolve the situation our country is in; most won’t accept that the real problem that’s tearing our country apart is a profound moral crisis.

We have leaders, like modern day Herod’s, ordering the killing of innocent children in the womb; unjust judges, like Pontius Pilot, condemning the innocent and a majority of citizens choosing Barabbas over Jesus Christ.

There is only one solution for America’s problems and until Americans wake up to this fact our country will continue to decline and self-destruct.

God’s Most Holy Mother appeared in Fatima in 1917 to give us the solution; to repent from our sinful ways. Amid a world in disorder shouldn’t we be turning to the Prince of Peace this Christmas for real solutions?

What’s needed to restore America is our atonement and prayers, beseeching God for the graces necessary to bring back the calm and radiant joy that surrounded the Hoy Family, shepherds and Magi Kings in Bethlehem on Christmas night.
