The Little Schuylkill River roars at just over 5 feet deep at 11:30 a.m. Monday near Cedar Street in Tamaqua. According to provisional information provided by the United States Geological Survey, close to four inches of rain fell between Sunday and Monday, doubling the water’s depth in a matter of hours.
