Palmerton Borough Council on a 6-0 vote took the following action on Thursday:

• Approved the Draxos, LLC subdivision. This is a developed property on Lafayette Avenue where a duplex is located on one lot. The lot is being subdivided so each house has an individual lot.

• Agreed to advertise putting the 1996 Smeal Pumper for sale.

• Approved the sale of shoring equipment in the amount of $5,600. This still needs to be accepted by Slatington Borough. Shoring is used in construction projects to provide stability.

• Approved the Palmerton Pharmacy vaccine clinic request.

• Tabled a no parking request from the Airing of the Quilts.

• Announced that the borough is accepting letters of interest to fill a vacancy on the borough’s planning commission.
