Anthony Wargo was elected president of the Coaldale Volunteer Fire Department during a reorganizational meeting held last evening in the fire hall.

Other officers elected are Paul Pobuda, vice president; Severin Veliskey, secretary; Daniel Zeigler, financial secretary; and Paul Sheers, treasurer.

Also named to positions were Andy Mikolay, fire chief; Wargo, first assistance chief; Tom Richards, second assistant chief; Zeigler and Ben Herring, foremen; John Soberick, chief radioman; Pobuda, first engineer; and Sheers, second engineer.

Clyde Beury was named president of the Firemen’s Relief Association and will be joined by Pobuda, vice president, Richards, secretary, and Simon Stefiniak, treasurer.
