Camelback Resort, located in Tannersville, plans to launch the 60th anniversary of its ski season with an opening on Friday.

Schedule of events for Friday:

• 9 a.m., First chair takes off with Camelback 60th anniversary banner.

• 9:15 a.m., Ribbon cuttings for new eateries and 60th anniversary mural unveiling.

Targeted slopes and trails for opening day are Sunbowl, Coolmoor, The Hump, John Bailey, Sullivan’s Trail, King Tut and Meadows. Anniversary gifts will be provided to the first 60 people hitting the slopes.
