Northern Lehigh School Board on a 7-0 vote approved the following personnel matters last week:

Appointments

• Brian Skrapits, temporary professional employee, secondary math teacher, $62,975, effective Dec. 11.

• Robert Long, Jr., skilled maintenance, $32.70 an hour, plus additional $1.06 per hour for skilled maintenance, effective Jan. 9.

• Heidi Eckhart, special education paraprofessional, $16.39 an hour, effective Nov. 21.

• Janelle Taylor, life skills paraprofessional, $16.39 an hour, effective Nov. 29.

Substitute

• Jennifer Wentz, substitute custodian worker, 2023-2024 school year, $15 an hour.

Bus driver/aide

• Stephanie Gaffney, bus driver/aide from Krise Transportation to transport Northern Lehigh School District students for the 2023-2024 school year.

Vacant positions

• Approved Superintendent Dr. Matthew J. Link to appoint qualified personnel to vacant positions during the period of time from Dec. 5 through the next regularly scheduled board meeting.
