The Bowmanstown-Parryville Lions Club, at its recent Christmas party, honored five volunteers for their contributions to the work of the club.

Recognized were Donna Beers, Albina Engle, Phyllis Christ, Sandra Serfass and Suann Kleintop.

Club second vice president Earl Reabold made presentations to the women while president Duane Hawk thanked them for their “hard work without which we couldn’t complete our projects that help the community.”

District Governor Bob Neumoyer was a guest speaker while entertainment was provided by Donna Parsons.
