Carbon County court - ARD

Judge Roger Nanovic recently admitted three people into the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition program.

The program, for first time, nonviolent offenders, offers defendants a chance to clear their records upon successful completion. Entry into ARD is not an admission of guilt.

Cheri Ann Haas, 37, Summit Hill, was charged by Nesquehoning Police Officer Carl R. Breiner with theft by unlawful taking and retail theft on Feb. 16, 2023.

She was admitted into ARD for one year.

Judge Nanovic ordered her to pay $450 to offset the cost of the program; repay Turkey Hill $1,027.98; and to pay a $100 LiveScan fee and a $50 monthly supervision fee.

Jason Alexzander Maximus Gold, 20, no address given, was charged by Lansford Police Officer Shawn M. Nunemacher with retail theft on Dec. 27, 2022.

Judge Nanovic accepted him into ARD for six months, and ordered him to pay $650 to offset the cost of the program, and to pay a $100 LiveScan fee and a $50 monthly supervision fee.

Amber Nicole Sherry, 38, Coaldale, was charged by Mahoning Township Police Officer Corey L. Frey with retail theft and retail theft by under ringing items on July 21, 2023.

She was admitted to ARD for one year.
