John J. Fenstermacher, 62, of Orwigsburg, was cited for failure to drive at a safe speed after a crash in North Manheim Township.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said he was driving a 2007 Pontiac Solstice at a high rate of speed on a curve when he went off the road and struck a street sign, went into a yard and hit a rock as it continued through the yard.

Police said Fenstermacher failed to stop and provide information to the property owner. No one was injured.
