New padded pews and carpeting, both in the auditorium and choir section of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Albrightsville, and 13 stained glass windows, were dedicated yesterday during a special service at the church.

The stained glass windows were actually installed in February 1994, but the carpeting and pews were recently added.

The dedication service was conducted by the Rev. Henry Sheppard, who praised the congregation of the rural church for attaining such capital improvement projects.

A committee spearheaded by Lucille Heimbach oversaw the stained glass project which was completed by the Oxford Stained Glass Studio, Philadelphia.
