Real estate office opening in Tamaqua

The Tamaqua Area Chamber of Commerce welcomed Towne and Country Real Estate LLC to Tamaqua with a recent ribbon cutting.

About 30 people attended the ribbon cutting at the 237 Center St. business, including friends, clients and representatives from the Chamber, Tamaqua Area Community Partnership, and the Greater Lehigh Valley Realtors.

The Realtors’ group arrived with a proclamation making it “Towne and Country Real Estate Day.”

Chamber President Kim Noel said a few words before the cutting, and talked about how owner Michael McGinley purchased the former Charlotte Solt Real Estate office from Realtors Kim Hillegass and Tammy Swinburne.

She spoke about how as Realtors, the three have served the area since 1987 and will continue the tradition of great service moving forward.
