Lehighton farm supplies tree to state capitol

A Lehighton Christmas tree is once again being used in the Pennsylvania Capitol.

A 20-foot Douglas fir provided by Crystal Springs Tree Farm in Carbon County was set to be unveiled today in the main rotunda.

This is the 26th year owner Chris Botek has made the journey from Mahoning Township to Harrisburg with a tree to display.

He has also had the distinction of having a 19-foot tree in the White House, the latest in 2016.
