The Eldred Township offices will be closed Thursday and Friday and the Thrift Store is closed also.

Zion’s worship

Advent worship will be 5 p.m., Saturdays, and Sundays at 8 a.m. also via Zoom, 10:30 a.m. also via Facebook Live.

A prerecorded service is available on Facebook. Sunday School is held at 9:15 a.m. on the second and fourth Sundays of the month.

There will be music from Zion’s choir at the 10:30 a.m. service on Dec. 17.

PVPC Bible study

Pleasant Valley Presbyterian Church, Brodheadsville, hosts a Ladies Bible Study Wednesdays from 10 to 11 p.m. continuing through the end of the year and ever onward.

No Adoration held

Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Gilbert, has announced there will be no Eucharistic Adoration on Friday.

B’ville blood drive

The Western Pocono Community Library, Brodheadsville, will host its next Miller-Keystone Blood Center blood drive this coming Monday, beginning at noon.

Whole blood, double red blood cells and platelets will be accepted.

Polk meeting

Polk Township is slated to have a double meeting on Monday. At 6:30 p.m. it will be for the proposed budget meeting. At 7 p.m. it will be a regular meeting.
