Police from numerous communities responded to a reported fight with shots fired Friday night in Lansford. The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. near the intersection of West Snyder Avenue and Sharp street. Police from Summit Hill, Nesquehoning and Coaldale as well as state police responded to the scene. According to reports, no one was hit by the gunfire but a short time later police were notified of a victim of a stabbing which occurred in Lansford was being treated at the St. Luke's Miners Memorial hospital in Coaldale.
