Pleasant Valley HR supervisor gets promotion, raise

The Pleasant Valley School Board approved a bump in pay and contract Thursday night for the head of the Human Resources Department.

Lori Fulmer was hired in June 2022 as the supervisor of the Human Resources Department at a salary of $80,000, but her predecessor, Jessica Tomon, had the title of director of Human Resources, which is an Act 93 position, with a salary of $100,000. Tomon left two years into a three-year contract.

Fulmer’s contract changes her title to director of Human Resources and bumps her pay up to $100,000. Her contract is for five years and runs from Nov. 16 to June 30, 2029.
