The following organizations are offering free Thanksgiving meals:

• St. John’s United Church of Christ at 15 South Second Street, Slatington is offering a free Thanksgiving Day dinner from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 23. The dinner will be a drive-thru with reservations required for pickup times. There will be no sit-down service.

To reserve a dinner and pickup time, contact the church office at 610-767-5554. The church office is open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays and from 9 a.m. to noon Tuesdays and Fridays.

People may also contact Lisa Hofmann at 610-760-9991 or Sharon Kuntz at 610-767-7018 to reserve a dinner and pickup time.

Dinners will only be delivered to shut-ins in the Northern Lehigh area.

Deadline for reservations is today.

Donations benefit the Northern Lehigh Food Bank.

• St. John’s Episcopal Church, noon to 2 p.m. Thanksgiving Day, dine in or take. Call 610-826-2611. Church is located at 365 Lafayette Avenue, Palmerton.

• Living Hope Lighthouse Church, 705 Third St., Palmerton, Wednesday, Nov. 22. Dine in from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Curbside from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Call 610-826-2201 for reservations.

• American Legion Post 927, 646 Fairgrounds Road, Gilbert, noon to 4 p.m. Thanksgiving Day. Free meal to all who attend.

• Our Lady Queen of Peace, 140 Route 209, Gilbert, free meal at 3 p.m. Thanksgiving Day. Also serving Nov. 26 at 3 p.m.

• Christ Hamilton Church, 419 Bossardville Road, Stroudsburg. Free meal Nov. 19, 4:30 to 6 p.m. Open to all.
