Northampton Community College is offering a free eight-week training program that explores career paths available in modern manufacturing and teaches the skills necessary for entry-level positions.

NCC will hold info sessions at 1 p.m. Nov. 14, 11 a.m. Dec. 14, 11 a.m. Jan. 23, and 1 p.m. Feb. 7 at the Fowler Family Southside Center, 511 E. Third St., Bethlehem.

The program, funded by the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development, will start in February 2024. In addition to earning the OSHA-10 certification, students will receive basic training in lean manufacturing, blueprint reading, production, automation, teamwork and more.
