Panther Valley won a pair of recent junior high football games to improve its record to 5-3 on the season.

Panther Valley defeated Catasauqua, 18-8.

Chase McArdle and Carson Jones both had 62-yard touchdown runs for the Panthers to give them an early lead. Xavier Villanueva capped the PV scoring with an 18-yard TD run.

The Panthers were led on the defensive side of the ball by Jones, Brody Vermillion and Adonis German.

Pen Argyl

Panther Valley edged Pen Argyl, 12-8.

Chase McArdle had a 35-yard touchdown run and Carson Jones raced 26 yards for a TD for the Panthers. Jones racked up over 100 yards rushing in the game.

Defensively, the Panthers got big plays from Adonis German, Troy Nunez, and Tyler Boyd. The PV defense also made a late stand inside the 10-yard line to seal the victory.
