Historical Society

The Summit Hill Historical Society will open the museum from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday.

The society will also welcome all children for Halloween treats during the borough’s trick or treat night on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. (Rain date Nov. 1.)

Senior Center

The menu at the Panther Valley Senior Center for the week of Oct. 30-Nov. 3 is:

Monday: Salisbury steak, Noodles, Peas and Carrots or Ham and Swiss Sandwich

Tuesday: Italian Sausage, Pasta, Broccoli and Cauliflower, Cookie or Chef Salad with Ham

Wednesday: BBQ Chicken, Sweet Potatoes, Brussels sprouts, Cornbread, Pudding or Chicken Caesar salad

Thursday: Center closed

Friday: Pork and Sauerkraut, Mashed Potatoes, Peas, Apple Slices or Salad with Chicken

The center also has announced upcoming events.

Movie and Popcorn on Oct. 27 at 10 a.m. Skeeball tournament on Oct. 30 at 11 a.m.; Halloween Party on Oct. 31 at 10:30 a.m.; Game Day on Nov. 1 at 11 a.m.; Bingo on Nov. 2 at 10:45 a.m.; Pancake Breakfast on Nov. 3 at 9:30 a.m.

New members are welcome.
