There is a chili cook-off and basket raffle from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at St. John Evangelical Church, 200, East Mauch Chunk St., Tamaqua.

Basket viewing from noon to 2 p.m. Chili tasting is $1 each and a bowl of chili is $4. Light lunch of hot dogs, drinks and desserts will be served. Open to the public; eat in only.

Also there will a fundraiser at Two Kings Pizzeria in Tamaqua from 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 5. Dine in or take out. Proceeds benefit kitchen renovations at St. John Lutheran Church. Mention to your server that you are supporting St. John Lutheran Church.
