Artists display their work at annual Carbon art show

The Carbon County Art League held its 41st Art Show at the Lehigh Gap Nature Center, Slatington, over the weekend.

More than 80 pieces of art from 25 different artists were on display - oil paints, woodcarving, water colors, photography, and many more.

Carbon County Art League President Diana McClement was very happy with the turnout.

“It was really fun to meet the artists coming in and putting all their work out, and the best thing is that look at all this talent in Carbon County,” McClement said.

The club was started 41 years ago by Frank Sebelin and several other artists.

“He and a group of buddies that worked together started painting together and it evolved from there,” McClement said.
