• Slatington Police Chief Greg Winokur released his monthly report for September 2023: 305 incidents (343 in 2022); 202 filed reports (212 in 2022); seven criminal arrests (10 in 2022); 22 parking tickets (24 in 2022); and 20 traffic citations (20 in 2022).

• Rescinded motion of Sept. 11 meeting concerning purchase of body armor with COVID-19 relief funds. The council approved use of funds for a grant match for Bulletproof Vest Partnership in the amount of $1,873.50.

• Approved a request from Pat Rabenold to hold “In Memory of Buzzy Car Cruise” on June 9, 2024.

• Approved request from Slatington Lions Club to conduct their Christmas tree Sales fundraiser from Nov. 17 to Dec. 30 at the Slatington D&L Trailhead.

• Approved the Chamber annual Tree Lighting Ceremony on Dec. 1 at Veterans Memorial Park.

• Approved Police Pension Plan for 2023 MMO for $47,307.04 to be paid for from the General Fund.
