Several residents voiced concerns about a squatters at a township home during the Towamensing Township supervisors meeting on Oct. 5.
The residents said that the home, at 57 Drive and Ziegre Drive, is littered with trash and a variety of animals and vehicles.
Among the animals, the residents say are on the property, are seven dogs, four horses, a hog and possibly a cow. They also said there are two campers, six vehicles and two horse trailers.
The residents said they are not only concerned about the bags of trash lining the property, but also about human waste.
A letter will be sent with a violation notice to the property owner, according to township officials.
The board said that it might be able to help with the dog issue now because residents are concerned that the dogs have been jumping on children and going on to other properties.
