Around 100 participants raised more than $7,000 on Sept. 23 in this year’s Carbon County Walk to End Alzheimer’s at Mauch Chunk Lake Park.

Unforgoettnerables was the top fundraising team, raising more than $4,500.

Team captain Maxine Romano started the team to raise funds and awareness for the Alzheimer’s Association in honor of loved ones affected by the disease.

Fundraising for the Carbon County Walk to End Alzheimer’s continues through Dec. 31.
