Fall festivals
• Lansford Alive’s 10th annual Fall Fest, Grace Community Church’s Block Party and Car Cruise, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday on West Ridge Street between Coal and Tunnel streets.
• Walnutport Canal Festival, Oct. 15.
Events
• St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church of Nesquehoning, in conjunction with Jukebox Cruisers Car Club of Carbon County, is having a car show and family day on Saturday at 1375 Oak Grove Drive, Lehighton, across from Tractor Supply on Route 443. The show begins at 9 a.m. with winning vehicles being announced at 3 p.m. Food, a bake sale, music, raffles, games for everyone, and crafts for the children.
