Calling all dogs: Bark in the Park will be held from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday at Locust Lake State Park in Barnesville.

The Friends of Tuscarora and Locust Lake State Parks are organizing the fundraising event.

There will be food, activities, demonstrations, vendors, rescues and silent auction with all proceeds going to the nonprofit Friends group. The event is free, family-friendly - and leashed, well-behaved dogs are welcome.

Vendors include Baileybones Canine Bakery, Dana’s Funny Doggies, Licious Bougie Boutique, Lovable Leads LLC, Mannered Mutts Dog Training, Venom Institute Conservation & Education and Pawz Away Pet Care.

Pawsitively Purrfect Rescue and Furever Home Rescue will be on hand, and K-9 Detective Spike from the Luzerne County District Attorney’s Office will demonstrate his skills.

Food trucks include Gimbel’s Farm Burgers, Phil’s French Fries & Pierogies and Farmshow Milkshakes.

From 12:30-3:30 p.m., a pet caricature artist will be on hand to draw photos of pets for a fee. Lisa Cambra will photograph dogs from noon to 4 p.m. for a fee, and crystal reiki by Kim will be presented from noon to 4 p.m.
